About This Event

The 31st Annual Island Dental Colloquium is hosted by the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry. This five-day course runs from February 9 to February 13, 2026, from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM daily. Attendees will benefit from sessions led by renowned speakers covering advanced strategies in adhesive restorations, management of traumatic dental injuries, and minimally invasive techniques for pediatric dentistry. Participants will gain practical knowledge and skills to enhance their clinical practice and improve patient outcomes. The event will take place at The Ritz-Carlton O’ahu, Turtle Bay, providing a unique blend of education and the beauty of Hawaii.

  • Identify adjuncts to noninvasive management, such as Povi-One, MI Paste, enzymatic caries removal
  • Determine when and how to use 'Hall crowns' for primary teeth
  • Make a holistic, whole-patient approach to the diagnosis of dental pain
  • Use a systematic approach to perform predictable and efficient root canals
  • Determine which teeth can be predictably treated and which should be referred
  • Understand how modern techniques and psychology have improved local anesthesia, especially in difficult cases.
