ACDE: Preserving Tooth Function Beyond the Bone Loss: Decision
About This Event
This course is designed to empower clinicians with the knowledge and decision-making skills necessary to manage challenging cases of the complex periradicular bone loss. Participants will learn to differentiate between five different types of endodontic and periodontal lesions and explore the anatomical relationships between the root canal system and surrounding periodontal structures, providing a foundation for accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment planning. The course will also explore non-surgical and surgical endodontic treatment protocols using bioceramic materials to maximize the potential for tooth retention. Participants will gain insights into advanced endodontic techniques, such as perforation repair and management of root fractures.
Learning Objectives
- Classify diagnostic criteria for endodontic-periodontic lesions.
- Identify and describe the pathways involved in complex bone loss.
- Assess the prognosis of teeth with the complex bone loss.
- Discuss non-surgical and surgical endodontic plans for managing complex lesions.
- Enhance patient communication regarding treatment options and outcomes.
