
Artificial Intelligence in Dental Medicine
About This Event
This 10-week live online program meets Wednesdays 9–11 AM ET and provides a comprehensive overview of artificial intelligence (AI) in dental medicine. The course covers core AI concepts and machine learning, computer vision and FDA-cleared imaging algorithms (with a hands-on workshop), precision dentistry and prognostic modeling, large language models and generative AI for patient communication and education, and future perspectives including ethical, legal, and clinical implications. Learning formats include lectures, small group discussion, case studies, workshops, and real-world case demonstrations. Participants will examine AI tools already cleared for clinical use, evaluate benefits and limitations, learn strategies to integrate AI into clinical workflows, and develop a framework for applying AI in their practice.
