
Harassment Prevention Training

Online webinar hosted by the Sacramento District Dental Society in collaboration with the California Employers Association. The program explains California harassment prevention requirements (since January 1, 2021) for organizations with five or more employees, detailing 1 hour of training for employees and 2 hours for supervisors. The first hour fulfills employee training; in the second hour, supervisors remain to learn about investigations, resolving complaints, and parameters of confidentiality. Attendees will discuss all forms of sexual harassment (verbal, visual, and physical) and other types of prohibited harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and abusive conduct in an interactive format. Attendees will learn how to recognize problems and their responsibility in prevention, with topics including reporting, bystander intervention, and practical tips to stay out of trouble and keep the workplace harassment-free.
