About This Event

This course will discuss the increasing number of dental implant surgeries in individuals over 75 years old, addressing the greater risks associated with implant placement and maintenance in older patients. We will explore how age-related changes affect oral, bone, and medical health, impacting implant treatment planning and maintenance. The lecture will be presented by Dr. Jenny Mathews, an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dentistry at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, who specializes in Periodontics and Dental Implants. This event is part of the 2026 Joint Provider Live Webinar Series, held in partnership with ACDE and 37 member dental schools.
