“Oh No, You Didn’t!” Why Patients Keep Breaking Restorations
About This Event
Nothing is more frustrating than restoring a patient’s teeth and seeing them repeatedly fracture. This practical course combines current evidence with practical information for practitioners. Many cases (and failures) will be presented, with suggested remedies. Topics include occlusal guidance and interferences, missing teeth, the neutral zone, post and core failures, and crown retention. After completing the course, participants will: Be familiar with why patients drift into unhealthy positions anterior to centric occlusion; Realize the disastrous results of missing molars, and know how to communicate that to patients; Know best practices for longevity with posts, crowns, brides and implants.
