The 2½ Day Comprehensive Review & Update Program

The overall Perio Review program is for periodontists preparing to take the Oral Exam (Part II) for certification by the American Board of Periodontology. For practicing periodontists who are board-certified, the 2-day weekend review is an enjoyable and practical way to participate in a comprehensive review and update. Those general dentists and dental specialists who are interested in periodontics are welcome to attend the 2½ Day Review. After participating in the 2½ – Day Comprehensive Review & Update program, participants should be better prepared to explain: Current concepts, particularly as they relate to management of patients with advanced periodontal diseases and dental implant therapy; New developments and specific topics covered in this overall review and updated in periodontics; Systematic diseases’ influences on periodontal disease, patient management, and periodontal medicine; Management of office emergencies and the diagnosis of oral lesions.
