About This Event
This course focuses on empathy, compassion, and communication in a clinical setting. Participants will engage in discussion and role plays aimed at enhancing their communication skills with patients. The learning objectives include defining empathy, examining the effects of compassion on patient safety, and understanding the economic implications of practicing with empathy. The agenda includes presentations from experts in the field and opportunities for participants to practice skills in small groups.

- State the components that identify burnout according to the Maslach Burnout Inventory
