- Discuss the clinical appearance of oral cancer and of pre-malignant lesions (epithelial dysplasia)
- Describe how to perform a fast and effective oral cancer screening examination
- Describe known risk factors for squamous cell carcinoma including human papilloma virus and how to speak to patients about them
- Discuss how to harvest and submit biopsy specimens that will be of highest diagnostic value.
