Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease affecting all age groups. It is one of the most common disorders and it is said to affect almost 20 million people in the United States. Patients suffering from diabetes have numerous oral manifestations and as such dental practitioners must become familiar with this disorder. In this webinar we will review the pathophysiology and pharmacotherapy commonly used to treat diabetes. We will discuss the drugs used and their Adverse Drug Reactions and Drug Interactions.
