CBCT Techniques, Applications, and Interpretation: An Interactive Workshop
About This Event
CBCT has transformed the practice of dentistry. This workshop addresses recent advances in CBCT imaging and how to incorporate these into the dental practice for optimal patient care. Topics include CBCT technology, practical uses for diagnosis and treatment planning across dental specialties, CBCT anatomy and anatomical variations, image interpretation, writing CBCT reports, and medicolegal issues. Participants gain hands-on experience using CBCT software guided through interpretation of clinical cases, using a case-based approach with 3-D illustrated case presentations, discussions, and interactive interpretations. Participants may bring up to two anonymized DICOM cases for discussion; self-interpretation followed by radiologist over-reads will be performed. The course includes live presentations (Day 1) and a half-day hands-on session (Day 2) covering implant planning, impacted/fractured teeth, resorption, airway analysis, and jaw lesions.
