Curved left and right ultrasonic instruments have distinct traits that disrupt and remove biofilm, surpassing the capabilities of other instruments. In this session, Dani will ignite your enthusiasm and strengthen your clinical knowledge as she guides you on how this unique technology can and should be an integral part of debridement procedures. This webinar provides an interactive experience from your home using a specialized camera; Dani incorporates live demonstrations and participants with a typodont and curved inserts are encouraged to follow along.
About the Speaker: Dani Botbyl is an educator, author, and award-winning researcher who has advanced ultrasonic technology in dental hygiene practice and education across North America. She co-authored Ultrasonic Periodontal Debridement: Theory and Technique (2nd ed., 2024) and contributed to Darby and Walsh Dental Hygiene Theory and Practice (6th ed., 2025). Dani has presented numerous evidence-based programs worldwide and served as National Clinical Educator with Dentsply Sirona (2000–2023) and held a faculty position at Niagara College in Welland, Ontario.
