About This Event

This presentation will focus on the most common non-tooth ache pain conditions presenting to the GP. This session will review the basic physiology of pain, and offer a simplified practical approach to dealing with the patient who presents in pain. Learning Objectives: To quickly and confidently diagnose most common oro-facial pain conditions encountered in dental practice; To provide an algorithm for the treatment of these conditions, allowing them to decide whether to treat or to refer and to whom; Make attendees aware of different diagnostic and imaging techniques and when to use them.
