This hybrid course offers a 20-hour didactic program and a 12-hour hands-on clinical experience for Texas-licensed dental hygienists seeking certification in local infiltration anesthesia. The didactic portion covers essential topics such as Texas dental laws, anatomy, emergency procedures, and pharmacology. The hands-on segment allows participants to practice injection techniques in a simulation setting and on patient-partners. The course runs from January 10-18, 2026, with in-person and webinar options for the first two days, while the last two days are in-person only. Participants must attend all sessions to receive CE credit.
