
Effective Management of TMJ Disorders with Dr. Nojan Bakhtiari (In-Person)
About This Event
Upon successful completion of this course the attendee will have learned how to differentiate TMD from other conditions. The course attendee will learn how to evaluate and utilize evidence-based treatments for TMD.
Speaker Bio:
Dr. Nojan Bakhtiari is a residency-trained and board-certified TMJ and Orofacial Pain specialist in New York City. He maintains a full-time private practice limited to evidence-based care of TMD, orofacial pain, sleep apnea and related headaches. He is Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, previously directed the Orofacial Pain service at Yale-New Haven, was a professor at the University of Connecticut, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain. He has authored a book chapter on Orofacial Pain and TMD and speaks nationally at universities, hospitals, dental societies, and conferences.
