Enhancing Endodontics: Safer, Faster and More Predictable Techniques for General Practitioners
About This Event
This comprehensive workshop offers dental professionals the latest insights and techniques in endodontics. The morning session will focus on cutting-edge concepts, including root canal anatomy, advanced imaging interpretation, minimally invasive access cavity design and the latest developments in cleaning, shaping and obturation procedures. In the afternoon, participants will translate theory into practice through guided hands-on experiences designed to enhance clinical skills using extracted teeth on surgical models, plastic blocks and modern endodontic tools. This workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and hands-on experience essential for achieving improved clinical endodontic outcomes with greater efficiency and effectiveness.
You Will Learn:
– To identify the clinical significance of root canal anatomy and effectively interpret radiographs and CBCT scans in endodontics
– To apply the principles of minimally invasive access cavity design to optimize patient outcomes
– To compare and contrast the latest kinematic developments in rotary and reciprocation systems for shaping canals
– To utilize advanced activation systems to enhance disinfection protocols
– To perform obturation using bioceramic sealers and the single cone technique with confidence
– To practice access cavity preparation with precision using ultrasonics, burs and magnification tools
– To safely shape root canals on plastic blocks and extracted teeth using rotary files
– To execute obturation techniques with a single cone approach in hands-on clinical scenarios.
Participants must bring at least three teeth that have not been accessed to the workshop, including at least one molar and one premolar. Registrants are strongly encouraged to bring their loupes and a light source for the workshop.
