Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About
About This Event
Current evidence reveals that the Human Papillomavirus/HPV now causes more oropharyngeal cancer than cervical cancer and is responsible for approximately 80% of oropharyngeal cancers. It’s essential that dental professionals share important information about HPV and oropharyngeal cancer, not only with their patients but also with their family and friends. During this CE webinar, we will discuss the Human Papillomavirus/HPV; recognize potential signs and symptoms of oropharyngeal cancer; name the anatomical structures of the oropharynx and components to an optimal screening. Attendees will leave inspired, ready to share information about HPV and give their dental team and patients something to talk about to increase early detection and save lives!
