Occlusal Equilibration: The Basics by Dr. Mike Racich
About This Event
Occlusal equilibration is a valuable aide for stomatognathic stabilization. Be it for restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, periodontics or orthodontics, the more complex the case, the more the maxilla-mandibular relationship requires physiologic, non-physiologic (e.g. bruxers), and static harmonization. Dentists, therefore, need to be able to provide occlusal equilibration services for their patients when required.
This course describes and illustrates an evidence-based basic, simplified approach to occlusal equilibration. The illustrated technique is both additive and subtractive. Treatment rationale(s) and endpoints are discussed.
