About This Event
Pain and dentistry are tightly linked, unfortunately. In contrast, our ability to keep patients comfortable is one of the factors that make a “good” dentist. In this course, you will review local anesthetics and local anesthesia techniques to get your patients comfortable during procedures. We will also review how to provide effective pain control after, and sometimes before, your procedures.
Learning Objectives
– Utilize improved knowledge of local anesthetics available for use by North American dentists
– Review standard and alternative techniques to provide profound local anesthesia for patients
– Provide effective pain relief for your patients with an improved knowledge of analgesic pharmacology
– Examine pain control protocols to provide better comfort for patients
This Online Course can be taken as a stand-along course, or as a complement to the new Live Webinar on Dec. 12: Safe & Effective Ways to Treat the Anxious Patient (1 CE) and Online Course: Optimizing Patient Intake for Sedation Dentistry (1 CE), also by Dr. Nkansah.
