Course Description: To provide an overview of the origin of dental pain; to trace and understand motor and sensory pathways; and to explore methods of pain management and beyond, integrating this knowledge into clinical situations in dentistry. Course Objectives: At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to: Understand dental pain causes and mechanisms of actions; Learn how our brains perceive and process pain; Trace and understand pain pathways; Integrate this knowledge into clinical situations in dentistry.
