APHTHOUS ULCERS: Triggers to Treatment

December 8, 2025

About This Event

Aphthous ulcers, commonly known as canker sores, are painful oral lesions that can disrupt patient comfort and oral health. This 60-minute live interactive webinar reviews causes and characteristics of aphthous ulcers, factors that delay healing and lead to secondary infections, and specific treatment and care solutions (such as sea salt rinses) that promote faster healing and infection prevention. The course includes practical steps for incorporating these solutions into post‑operative patient care, discussion of clinical and financial benefits of reducing ulcer-related complications, and distribution of handouts. Attendees complete a quiz (80% passing score required) within 7 days to receive CE credit.
