Beyond the Script: Controlled Substance Regulations in Dentistry
About This Event
Under the Controlled Substances Act and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)’s regulations, Dentists must maintain specific records of controlled substances they maintain, prescribe, administer, and/or dispense in order to prevent diversion and abuse of these substances. Additionally, Dentists must take certain measures to secure any controlled substances maintained on their premises.
