BLS for Healthcare Provider Renewal CPR 2/11/26
About This Event
The American Heart Association BLS renewal course is designed for Healthcare Professionals who are renewing their BLS certification prior to the expiration of their certification. It encompasses the 2020 AHA guidelines for high quality CPR on an adult, child, and infant and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on an adult, as well as discussion of AED usage on a child and infant. This course also includes rescue breathing and use of the bag mask device on adults and infants. This course also briefly discusses opioid overdose and maternity patients. Participants must have an unexpired AHA BLS Provider card to attend a renewal course. Course length: 3.5 Hours. Successful participants receive a BLS Provider eCard valid for two years.
