
Coronal Polishing for Dental Assistants
About This Event
This eight-hour, board-mandated course satisfies the Kentucky Board of Dentistry educational requirements for dental auxiliary personnel to qualify for certification in coronal polishing under a dentist’s direct supervision. Components include didactic/lecture with a multiple-choice exam (pass 75%+), practical/pre-clinical demonstrations and instructor evaluations, and a clinical component requiring five live-patient competency exams supervised by a licensed Kentucky dentist with submission of performance evaluation forms within 60 days. Course materials (manual, presentations, exam review) will be provided after registration. Live lecture and hands-on format using typodont-mounted models. Certificates issued after submission of all performance checklists and completion of course evaluation.
