About This Event
The BLS Healthcare Provider Course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages, including ventilation with a barrier device, bag‑mask device, and oxygen; use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO). This course meets updated licensure requirements and is intended for participants who provide healthcare to patients. Suitable for certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals. Presenting instructor: Shane Driver NRP, FP-C, an EMS professional with over 29 years of experience in clinical care, education, and leadership. The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider.
