About This Event

This course meets the requirements of HB1 and satisfies the continuing education requirement for Kentucky dental license renewal as specified in 201 KAR 8:533 Section 9 (3)(c) concerning the use of the Kentucky All Scheduled Prescription Reporting System (KASPER) and addiction disorders. The course will discuss the current opioid epidemic, review the requirements of KASPER, discuss recent changes to KASPER, provide practical utilization of eKASPER for the practicing dentist, and discuss changes in the management of acute dental pain. It includes lecture and PowerPoint presentation via Zoom Webinar and is designated for 3.0 hours of continuing education credits.
