About This Event
This CE webinar will discuss the side effects and potential emergency situations that are associated with both local anesthetics and vasoconstrictors. Specific topics include local anesthetic allergy, toxicity, and cardiovascular emergencies. Objectives include understanding the actual precursors that can cause an allergic reaction; the maximum doses for local anesthetic toxicity; the maximum doses for vasoconstrictors in patients with cardiovascular disease; recognizing symptoms of local anesthetic toxicity and allergic reaction; and managing allergic reactions and toxic administration of local anesthetics.
