About This Event
Recognition and Management of Medical and Airway Emergencies for Dental Professionals course provides attendees with the skills to recognize and manage medical and airway emergencies in the dental office, with a focus on team response to medical emergencies and a hands-on airway management component. This course meets the Board of Dentistry guidelines of the recent rule change for 64B5-14.004 for the biennial CE requirements of all sedation permit holders. Course Description: This course includes a hands-on airway management component and covers risk assessment, team roles, common emergencies in the dental office, basic airway anatomy, monitoring techniques, ventilation support, and related procedures. CE Hours: 4. Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Location: Tampa Bay Regional Campus, 3400 Gulf to Bay Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33759, RM. #1701. Registration open through 1/14/2026 5:00 PM.
