Restorative Expanded Functions for Dental Auxiliaries
About This Event
This four-day lecture and hands-on course is designed for dental assistants who would like advanced training in restorative dentistry and will include those duties which may be performed under the supervision of a dentist. The course provides pre-clinical proficiency in restorative procedures including placement and finishing of amalgam and composite restorations to clinical competency and a hands-on practical component of digital dentistry (intraoral scanning). The course consists of didactic and practical components presented in two weekend-long sessions (3/14/2026, 3/15/2026, 3/28/2026, 3/29/2026). Faculty demonstrations and evaluations verify competency. Participants who successfully complete requirements will receive a certificate of completion.
