About This Event

This course provides an educational foundation of Autism Spectrum Disorder for healthcare practitioners and personal care providers to instill confidence in clinical decision making and treatment planning and to inspire creativity in chairside accommodations for safe and effective care. Agenda/Topics: overview of ASD and oral health risks; common systemic conditions affecting people with ASD; techniques and equipment useful for clinical care; oral health aids to assist patients with ASD; strategies for communicating and collaborating with ASD specialists.
