Oral Hard Tissue Disease and Home Care Management
About This Event
The purpose of this interactive course is to provide dental practitioners and students with an overview of hard tissue disease, factors that influence the disease process and evidence-based self-care prevention practices. The course differentiates between dental caries and dental erosion, explains causes and development processes, and outlines strategies for prevention and optimal self-care. It covers tooth anatomy, genetic and protective factors in the oral environment, external influences, treatment recommendations including dentifrice fluoride compounds, and includes patient cases as knowledge checks.
