The CEO Approach
About This Event
Stop wrestling with confusing systems and start running your practice with the clarity and focus of a CEO. This 2-day (8:00–5:00) in-person course is a hands-on, interactive program for doctors, office managers and practice leaders. Through workshops and role-playing you will analyze profit & loss statements to forecast profitability, set operating budgets, calculate production capacity and personal income share, understand the real costs of write-offs and discounts, and identify key practice metrics to improve efficiency and growth. You’ll workshop leadership styles, practice communication skills for patient interactions and across the employee lifecycle (interviewing, onboarding, performance evaluations, compensation conversations and difficult conversations), and leave with a clear, actionable plan to improve profitability, case acceptance, team culture and operational systems. Instructors: Rachel Karfeld and Larry Guzzardo. CE Credits: 16. Tuition: $2,999 for one doctor + one leader; $1,200 for additional leaders.
